Joshua C. Grumke Tell Us Your Story

Joshua C. Grumke

Joshua C. Grumke is an associate attorney in the asbestos practice at Wallace Miller. He works with individuals across the country who were put in harm’s way by companies that prioritized their bottom line over their employees’ safety. In his work, his primary focus is making sure that clients get what they need to provide stability and a path forward for themselves and their families. Combining patience and compassion with efficiency, diligence, and thorough knowledge of the law, Joshua supports his clients through incredibly difficult times and goes above and beyond to get them the compensation they need.

Joshua began his legal career working with Laci M. Whitley representing asbestos clients nationwide. In 2019, he transitioned to working at a small civil defense firm in St. Louis to gain perspective and courtroom experience. After six years at the firm, his desire to work directly with clients and make a difference in individual people’s lives pushed him to move back into asbestos litigation with Laci, now a partner at Wallace Miller.

Joshua earned his J.D. from St. Louis University and his B.A. in Accounting from Truman State University. While he was enrolled in law school, the Michael Brown shooting occurred in St. Louis. This event and its aftermath shaped his belief that an attorney’s purpose should be to help people, a principle that continues to motivate him as he fights for those harmed by exposure to asbestos.

“People want to know that somebody’s going to be held accountable and that the money that comes out of it will take care of their family when they’re gone,” Joshua says. “And we do the absolute most that we can to get them that security that will give them peace of mind.”
