Laci M. Whitley is a partner at Wallace Miller and the lead attorney on our asbestos litigation practice. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families affected by asbestos-related illnesses, approaching every case with honesty, compassion, and commitment to her clients’ well-being. Laci prioritizes transparency and communication and works tirelessly to secure the best outcome for the unique circumstances of each person she represents.
Before joining the team at Wallace Miller, Laci spent 12 years developing her skills, relationships, and know-how in the asbestos field. Although she initially intended to pursue tax law, her hands-on work with clients pushed her to continue to fight for the rights of people struggling with the consequences of asbestos exposure. She’s driven by a commitment to dignity and justice, helping clients navigate some of the most difficult periods in their lives and secure a future for themselves and their families.
Laci earned her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law from the University of Evansville. Outside of the office, she spends time with family and at her children’s sports games. A lifelong athlete, Laci has coached youth volleyball with her husband and hopes to return to it when her kids are older.
“A lot of our clients worked hard their whole lives,” Laci says. “These are blue-collar workers—they were roofers, they were plumbers, they were in the Navy, they served our country. We are here to work for them and get them as much as we can.”
